11.2 The Services may provide social sharing capabilities and other integrated features that enable you to share actions taken on our Services to your contacts or the public via social media. Additionally, we utilize the analytics capabilities offered by the social platforms to gain insight into the behavior of our social media audience, to detect trends and to execute joint promotional initiatives with these platforms. For instance, in certain cases, we may agree with a particular social media platform to promote certain content together.

11.3 We obtain aggregated statistical data from social media platforms regarding the performance of our published and promoted content, including the number of views and the types of viewers. The social media platform aggregates and anonymizes the data prior to providing it to us.

11.4 In addition to the paid advertising tools provided by social media platforms, we also utilize paid content tools to execute advertising campaigns on social media platforms for our advertisers, as well as to promote our own content. For instance, on Pinterest, we utilize the “Promoted pins” tool to promote our own editorial or sponsored content to visitors on Pinterest. Once again, we receive only aggregated statistical data from social media platforms, which is information regarding interactions with our advertisements and sponsored content, including, but not limited to, views, times shared, etc.

11.5 We process data submitted by social media platforms based on our legitimate desire to engage with our users on social media platforms and promote our content on social media platforms.

12. Cookie Policy

12.1 What Are Cookies?

Cookies are a type of small text file used to identify an individual online. When visitors to a website visit a cookie, which is stored on the hard drive, allows the website to recognize the visitor while they are on the website.
